You can feel super nauseated but you have to eat something because there is that handful of pills waiting for you to ingest and you’ll only feel worse (or get really sick) if you don’t take them. Zippers, buttons, necklaces, bracelets - forget it if your fine motor coordination isn’t working. Just the feeling of the fabric touching skin can be so painful that it limits what you can and can’t wear. Putting on clothing can be a two-person job - that’s if you can get out of bed. You are too tired and sore to even shower, yet can’t stand the fact that you aren’t clean. When you live with chronic illnesses like fibromyalgia and lupus there are many, many days where this is a perfect sentence to describe your feelings.
